Cash Incentive and Prize Draw Announced

An initiative to increase Koru Tennis Club membership was announced today. The initiative is the introduction of a scheme whereby existing members are rewarded for introducing new members to the club.

The club recognises its greatest resource as existing members; who are likely to have a range of networks that may include friends, family, work colleagues, neighbours, sporting and community groups. So the club is offering a reward scheme that includes Cash Payments and a Prize Draw for recruiting new members.

A networking package would also be made available that would provide some ideas on how to recruit and introduce new members to the club. Over the coming months the club will also compliment the initiative with a range of promotional activities that will include roadside signage, press releases and school newsletter editorials.

Dean Hooker, President of the Club commented "We recognise that all new members are valuable and the scheme allows payments for all membership subscription categories. The scheme, however, is geared to incentivise recruitment of new competitive players where they are most needed."

Support of the scheme is encouraged as it is hoped it will provide increased tennis play opportunities, a strengthened club and the potential for members to gain financial reward.
