Will start with the very strong Ferrier Cup team led by Captain and former Tongan and Auckland representative Utu Tuima and Gayleen Carson, former NZ representative and top 10 US collegiate player. The Ferrier Cup team once again finished in the top 3 of a very strong competition, only injuries and rained off games prevented a win in this grade.
The Presidents A team led by Captain and club stalwart Jim Beban won this grade by a 5 points from neighbour Pakuranga. The Second Mens S3 grade won promotion to stay up in this very spirited grade.
The other grades of Open Men 3 & 9, Open Pres 3 and Second Men S1 all performed creditably.
Junior Interclub
Not to be outdone, the Koru junior 16’s team won the Pre-Xmas and Post-Interclub Interclub, that team was made up of Daniel McWilliams, Ashleigh Johnson, Elias Nevalagi, Katie Heaven and Hayden Connell.
Jedric Garcia, has continued on his winning ways in Auckland & NZ junior tournaments.
