Seasons greetings. Hope everybody had a good Christmas and New Years, it does seem a while ago though. The club has been well utilized over the Christmas period with club days and vets still being well attended, and events organised by the Entertainment Committee well received and attended.
The Texas Hold Em’ in Nov. Sunday Christmas Lunch 11th December , Pot Luck Dinner 21st December, and the Champagne breakfast and tournament in January (but noted, not a very good turnout by Presidents A players!). But not too many to the Working Bee… Surprise! However a lot of work was achieved by the usual suspects, notably plates on the gates for access to get balls and concreting of super-soaker pad and general tidy up.
Interclub results are still mixed with one team coming first and one coming last, and the rest middle of the road, 4th-5thish.
